Healing Hands Healthcare was founded by Dr. Romesh De Vos, a renowned osteopath who has been serving Melbourne’s western suburbs over the last one and a half decades. He is also the founder of Be Enhanced Health. Throughout his career, Dr. De Vos has treated over 3,000 patients and earned the trust of more than 250 doctors, alongside numerous agencies such as NDIS, aged care, and disability services.

The name Healing Hands Healthcare originates from the words Dr. De Vos’ patients said about him in the west. On deeper reflection though, the meaning behind the name runs much deeper.
Healing hands signifies the act of restoring health, improving well-being, and helping us feel better than before. But what is the source of health and well-being? How does one achieve and sustain true health? These questions shaped the concept of Healing Hands to go beyond conventional care and offer a deeper connection with patients.
In most healthcare settings, the focus is often on treating the body and its immediate symptoms. At Healing Hands, we go further, examining the body, mind and spirit as a whole and recognizing how everything is interconnected. This holistic approach allows our osteopaths to not only address the issue at hand but also discover the root cause and develop a more detailed treatment and management plan. This empowers patients to understand why their symptoms have arisen and what they need to do to maintain a healthier state of being.
